Q. What is Runtime HRMS?
Runtime HRMS is a cloud based people management software. It helps you organize employee information, track employee attendance, process payroll and perform HR Management tasks like issuing letters, etc. It also includes statutory compliance for ESI, PF, TDS and Professional Tax.

Q. Who can use it?
Runtime HRMS is targeted for small and medium sized Indian businesses. If your employee strength is between 20 to 1000, it is worth giving it a try. For businesses having less than 20 employees, it is easy to manually manage employee information and payroll. For businesses having more than 1,000 employees, it is worth looking for an ERP solution.

Q. Do you have a free trial?
Yes. We offer a 30-day free trial for all plans. Using the free trial, you can explore various features of and generate payroll for one or more months. Your employees can install and use Runtime Workman, our employee self service mobile app. After 30 days free trial, you can choose to pay and continue using.


Q. What is the payment frequency?
Subscription charges can be paid for 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 year or 3 years. We offer attractive discounts when you pay for 6 months or more.

Q. How to make the payment?
Once you are logged into the application, click on your name at top right and then click on ‘Subscription’ link. To renew subscription, click on ‘Renew’ button next to validity date. Select renewal frequency and then click ‘Generate Invoice’. An invoice will generated for your selected renewal duration. Click on ‘Pay Now’ to pay the invoice. You can pay using a debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or wallets like Paytm etc.

Q. Can I pay offline or a direct bank transfer?
We recommend to pay using online payment facility. This ensures that your service is renewed immediately upon successful payment. If you choose to pay offline, you can do so by way of NEFT transfer to our bank account. However, it may take up-to 72 hours to renew your account. Q. What happens when I upgrade my plan?
When you upgrade your plan, you need to make the payment for difference between your existing and new subscription. Consider this example for more details:

Current Subscription:

  • Basic @ Rs.50 per employee per month
  • No. of employees: 100
  • Months left in current subscription: 2 months

New Subscription:

  • Professional @ Rs.70 per employee per month

Amount payable on upgrade
100 employees * 2 months * 20 per employee per month (70-50)
Total amount: 4,000

Therefore, to upgrade from Basic to Professional as per above details, you need to pay Rs. 4,000 and your plan will be upgraded instantly.
